Good Law and Bad Law

Good Law and Bad Law

No law is good simply because it is ‘well intentioned’. For a law to be good for society, it must show good results upon implementation.

In this world today the greatest plague for us all is when we try to force our will on others: the Russian War on Ukraine, the global War on People Using Drugs. And now we’re back to the Abortion War again.

Human beings and the governments we create to hopefully make our lives better through organization and cooperation, these governmental organizations have proven over and over that they always fail when they try to micro-manage people’s private lives.

Prohibition of Alcohol created the Mafia to supply alcohol to people who had had access to it since prehistoric times and still wanted it.The Drug War created Drug Lords to supply drugs that people wanted and had legal access to in prior times. What new governmental monstrosity will rise from a potential Abortion Ban and the inevitable enforcement mechanisms that our society will create to enforce the law. Will we have Breaking Bad type shows about women and girls/children seeking abortions?

Yes we will. We will unless we vote out all proponents of these governmental overreach laws in November.

No one likes having an abortion, but a large majority of people think that a woman should have the legal right to control her own body, even when she is pregnant with a potential ‘new person’ in this world.

I am a spiritually minded person, I believe in God and Life After Death, even though I have no scientific proof.

When we see the horrors going on in the world today, of all kinds, we must have spiritual faith if we are to think our lives have any meaning, even to us, at all… I do.

Even women who have abortions wish they weren’t in a situation where they feel they can’t deal with a pregnancy, but they are and for an infinitely different array of reasons…

They need help, not jail.
