The game Monopoly is based on the concept of capitalism and land ownership, but it also teaches us that capitalism can self-destruct if one entity is able to buy up everything and force everyone else to pay rent, with no equity, in perpetuity. In that scenario there is only one 'winner' and countless 'losers'. Such are the things that revolutions are made of. In the future I think all rental contracts will give some fraction of equity to the renter, as it should be.
